E-Meet
Before we become collaborators (and lifelong friends), it's important to get to know each other. Everyone has their quirks, and we believe in being on the same page before we start our journey.
This process kicks off with an E-meet, where we come together and hash out the details. We’re always happy to help, so this exercise gives you the opportunity to clear any uncertainties and discuss the scope of work. It’s also a good time to set your expectations and communicate your needs with us. We’ll accommodate all your requests, so feel free to speak your mind.
Technical details
3D modelling is all about the details. And we want to nail the execution for our clients. In this step, we make note of all your technical requirements. From the desired file size, to the format (we work with .obj, .glb, .gltx, .fbx to name a few), we analyse what you're looking for. Now is also the time we set delivery timelines, based on the scale and attributes of your project.
Live Updates
Congratulations! You’re part of the Ikarus family. We’ll begin processing your project right away, allocating a team of the best 3D artists for the job. Just so your assignment gets the attention it deserves, each team is headed by an expert project manager, who helps them build product-accurate 3D models that are compatible with any platform.
And don't worry about missing out. You’re always part of the loop, getting regular updates on the status of your project at all points. Your project manager and Point Of Contact is available 24x7. So you can contact us, anytime, for suggestions (or just for a chat). Smooth and timely updates also help us incorporate your feedback in real-time so the end delivery has minimal to no revisions.
Quality Assurance
Worried about the final quality of your project? You can relax.
Through our in-house Quality Assurance (QA) tool, we pass your entire project through stringent checks at all levels. We’re proud of our tool, which is deployed with Quality Assurance experts who identify and correct errors in the 3D models. With our faithful ally, we’ve managed to bring down corrections by 35%.
The QA tool improves the build and detail of your 3D assets, so there are minimum revisions on the projects we produce. Our strict inspections means we’re continuously making modifications before the project reaches you.
That's not all, a few of the other features in the Quality Assurance tool are:
- Grid Helper to check the model’s position in the 3D space
- Axis Helper to view the direction in which the model is facing (X, Y or Z)
- Channel Debugger to resolve any issues in the base color, normal, roughness, opacity, etc.
- Visualization of dimensions to ensure that the model has correct proportions and scale
